We all have those unique/interesting/quirky people we like to follow on social media. But who’s flying under the radar? We went out and asked some of Kansas City’s best and brightest social-media influencers one simple question: Who are some local folks we need to be following and why?

“Bella Donna (Instagram @bellatrixortreat) is one of my favorite people to follow on Instagram. She’s a model based here in Kansas City and takes her brand really seriously. She’s from a small town and moved to KC several years ago. She’s also connected a lot of people in the fashion world—working with scores of different photographers who capture really narrative photos. In person, she’s down to earth—and dedicated to helping coach younger models too. As a coach, she takes young models who want to succeed and she shows them how to pose, how to work with photographers, what to charge and how to actually make money doing it, and also how to build a business.
I am always inspired to see her posts and all the concepts she comes up with. Recently, she did a really cool shoot with a ton of neon signs and it looked like it came right out of a Prada ad in Vogue. I am also really impressed by the business she has built all on her own being a great networker. She really spends the time to get to know people. I can’t wait to see what she does in 2019!
