“Kansas City is becoming such a hub for creatives that it’s difficult for me to choose a favorite follow. Increasingly, I look for authenticity and variety in my feed that is mostly filled with images of food! Adri Guyer, the co-owner of Black Coffee Photo is my favorite Kansas City follow.
Since Adri is a photographer, her feed is, of course, beautiful. But it’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her life as a creative that provides you the full picture—mostly shared through her Instagram stories. Sure, she photographs gorgeous weddings in great locations, but she will hilariously document how she has also been on her feet and unable to eat for 12 hours in that process.
My favorite thing to watch is Adri’s brand work—which she’s been doing more of lately. She helps loved Kansas City businesses, institutions, and people like KC WineWorks, Dance Fit Flow, Boulevardia, and the fabulous Diana Kander develop and capture their brand. Her passion for their work—and how they’re bettering Kansas City—is contagious. She shares and celebrates business wins and milestones, and it’s hard not to cheer along with her.”
