Shout! The Mod Musical March 8-10
It’s getting groovy in Johnson County! Shout! The Mod Musical is a part of the Emerging Theatre Professional Initiative and can be found at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center this weekend. The musical follows the liberation of women in 1960s and 1970s England with hip-swiveling hits and hilarious (and real) radio soundbites from the era.

Mamma Mia! March 8-10
You know the story: a mom, a daughter, and three possible dads. Escape onto a Greek island paradise for a little while with this tale of love and friendship—and killer ABBA hits. This has been a musical classic and feel-good show for almost 25 years. But no promises on getting the songs out of your head afterward!

Roméo et Juliette March 9
The Lyric Opera of Kansas City is making Romeo and Juliet even more dramatic in this French operatic adaptation. If you need to revisit Verona and catch up with the Capulets, or you skipped your high-school English courses the first time around, this will take the familiar story to new and devastatingly beautiful heights.
