Meat Mitch’s backyard beer garden is going all out to benefit KC Pet Project this weekend. Sponsored by Boulevard Brewing and J. Rieger Co., the event features some of Kansas City’s boozy favorites and promises an elevated carnival experience. 


KC Rep Summer Youth Theatre Ensemble July 28-29
The KC Rep’s Summer Youth Ensemble presents a completely new play created in just 18 days. Here/After, performed in the Spencer Theatre on the UKMC campus, promises ponderings on the Here, and the After—some funny, some not.


Jinkx Monsoon at the Folly July 29
A two-time RuPaul’s Drag Race winner and Broadway breakout star is coming to The Folly. Along with her full rock band and musical “main squeeze,” Jinkx will perform covers and original music from her albums The Ginger Snapped and The Inevitable Album, along with new songs from her upcoming album The Virgo Odyssey. 


Amaizing Sweet Corn Festival – July 29
Celebrating this season’s Glean-A-Thon, After the Harvest and the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame invite the volunteers and public to a day of music, games, and competition—including hay wagons, train rides, and more.

1776 at Starlight July 25 to July 30
