It’s getting retro this weekend with local band Retroactive opening for an outdoor screening of The Addams Family remake. Serving up treats will be the food trucks Kona Ice and KC Fooditude, along with food tents from Burnt End BBQ and Empanada Madness

Battle of the (Local) Beers  July 14
Four breweries are coming together to battle it out for the title of McClain’s best local brew of 2023. Visitors cast their votes based on tasters from Servaes, Pathlight, Rock Creek, and Limitless. Who will take home bragging rights? You decide.

Songwriter’s Sanctuary  July 16
Heartland Song Network brings songwriters and vocalists together at this community event held by PH Coffee. A great opportunity to try out new material, hone your vocal talents, and meet with like-minded artists in a supportive listening environment—but please, no covers. Original songs only!
