Office Space: Three of Our Favorites

In the Navy

It’s a classic, clubby office brought up to date with trending navy-hued, glossy-painted walls and trim. Designer Maureen Lindstrom of ML Designs says of the Thomas O’Brien-designed Visual Comfort light fixture, “It’s so cool for a man’s office because it has such a modern, eclectic feel in an otherwise traditional space.”

French Dressing

Designer Leann Lynn with McCroskey Interiors put a Gallic spin on this Plaza pied-a-terre. She tucked an office for the wife into a charming space just off the primary bedroom. Texture abounds with the Philip Jeffries grasscloth wallcovering, nubby silk shade, and silk-velvet upholstered stools.

Coming Soon

Here’s a sneak peek of the home office in the upcoming June issue home feature. Interior designer Amy Thurston’s office is a cocoon of rich textures and the perfect spot for stimulating ideas and storing inspiration.
