Sugar Skull! A Día de Muertos Musical Adventure October 19
A little magic and a whole lot of fun. Featuring traditional regional music and dance from Mexico, Sugar Skull! is a touring bilingual and bicultural musical that tells the story of 12-year-old Vita Flores and Sugar Skull, a charismatic skeleton.

Ain’t Misbehavin’ October 20-22
Just try to stop your feet from tapping! This Tony Award winner for Best Musical runs through October 29, so you’ve got plenty of time to catch some of Fats Waller’s best tunes from Music Theater Heritage.

“Bubble, bubble. I’m in trouble!” Grab a blanket and cozy up for a backyard screening. Lovers of fall weather and spooky vibes can get their fill at Screenland Armour’s celebration of Hocus Pocus’s 30th anniversary.

10th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration October 21
The Kansas City Museum celebrates Día de los Muertos for the tenth year in a row, exploring the history and cultural traditions of Mexico. The day includes many local performers, including Stone Lion Puppet Theatre, dance from Grupo Folklorico Izcalli, and music by Mariachi Estrella KC.

Cheers to the Cheese Festival October 21
Beer and cheese—what’s not to love? Enjoy eight pairings from local breweries with regional cheesemakers and see the best pair crowned by a panel of judges. This one-of-a-kind Weston festival includes other local vendors and special NA mocktails for designated drivers.
