KC Current Soccer Stadium Opens March 16
It’s Opening Day for the $117 million, 11,500-capacity CPKC Stadium, one of the first of its kind in the world, and the first built by a National Women’s Soccer League team. For the inaugural match, KC Current plays the Portland Thorns.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade March 17
Here’s to cheering 50 years of the Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and for once, the weather should cooperate. The parade starts at 11 a.m. at Broadway Blvd. and Linwood Rd. and will travel south on Broadway to 43rd St. in Westport. Set out early to get the best views.
