Kansas City FilmFest International April 11 – 14
Celebrating its 28th year of bringing indie films and filmmakers together with Kansas City audiences, the Kansas City FilmFest is presenting 15 narrative features, 12 documentary features, more than 60 narrative shorts and 25 documentary shorts. AMC Ward Parkway 14 is the location for the fest. See as many movies as you like with a $45 gold all-access pass, or purchase individual tickets for $10. Cookbook Fundraising for The Prospect KC April 14
The Prospect will kick off its first Cookbook Fundraising Series in 2024 with a family-style brunch at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, featuring a menu by Bravo’s “Top Chef” Kenny Gilbert, chef and co-founder of Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen and Gilbert’s Social. Gilbert is also the author of Southern Cooking Global Flavors (Rizzoli Spring 2024), a cookbook featuring more than 100 recipes drawing on ingredients and techniques from the American South and bold flavors from his international travels. Tickets are $150.
Orchid Delirium April 12 – 14
