Cabaret at the Jewish Community Center

Date: Through February 17th
Time: Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2 p.m.

It may be freezing cold outside, but it’s hot at The White Theatre of the Jewish Community Center where the Kander and Ebb musical classic Cabaret continues through February 17. (Little known fact: The late John Kander was from Kansas City!)

The intimate 16-member cast features all local performers. Audiences members can purchase special VIP tickets to be part of the action in the Kit Kat Klub. In addition, after the Feb. 10 performance there will be a special talk-back with Dr. Shelly Cline from the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education to help answer the question: “What was going on in Germany, Europe, and around the world, while life was ‘beautiful’ in the Kit Kat club, setting the stage for the rise of the Nazis?”

KC Remodel + Garden Show

 Date: February 8th – 10th
Time: Friday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Price: Tickets are $10 at the door, $8 in advance

Lyric Opera’s Mack The Knife Is The Man I Love: A Weill-Gershwin Cabaret

Enjoy a slate of standards, such as I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, The Saga of Jenny, and Mack the Knife, in a cabaret setting that promises to chase away the winter blues.
