Coalesce – November 5

Gather your fashionable friends and head to Coalesce, an immersive art experience where fine art meets fashion to support the Kansas City Artists Coalition. Eight local multidisciplinary artists will transform gowns into walking canvases of fine art. The event will be held outdoors at The City Market from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wear your most artful and creative cocktail attire, because the Coalesce judges will be picking the best dressed attendee at 7:15 p.m. All tickets purchased come with a custom face mask. Crown Center’s Ice Terrace Opening Day – November 5

Lace up your skates for the 49th season of fun at Kansas City’s only public outdoor ice skating rink. Rise and shine early to enjoy complimentary skating, coffee, and hot chocolate being offered from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. on opening day.

Music & Lights: A Twilight Drive-In Experience – November 6

Head to Town Center Plaza from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. for a free, live drive-in concert with music by Billboard chart climber Ashley Barron. Plus enjoy the not-to-be missed vocals from Casi Joy, Drew Six, Rusty Laffoon, Nick Nave, and Nicole Springer along with a special LED light show performance by nationally acclaimed performing arts group Quixotic. There will be food trucks offering tasty food for purchase. Premium reserved parking passes can be purchased here. 

WinterludeKansas City and All That’s Jazz: Bringing Legends to Life – November 7

Experience the legends of Kansas City jazz like never before at WinterludeKansas City and All That’s Jazz: Bringing Legends to Life in Yardley Hall at the Midland Trust Center. You’ll go on a journey of Kansas City jazz that celebrates the greats! This concert includes narration, multimedia images, and historic video clips, all narrated by KMBC 9 NEWS chief meteorologist Bryan Busby. You’ll enjoy newly arranged compositions and transcriptions of songs that represent Kansas City jazz pioneers Charlie Parker, Count Basie, Bennie Moten, Julia Lee, Mary Lou Williams, Big Joe Turner and many others. Donut Fest  – November 7

Do you love donuts? We know you do! Spend a fun Sunday afternoon sampling donuts, enjoying beer, coffee, and more at this fun-filled tasty event in Grandview. General admission tickets are now on sale and include event access from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., one donut sample from each booth, a beer ticket, a voting ballot to name KC’s favorite donut, non-alcoholic beverage samples, photobooth opportunities, entry into the donut-eating contest, and much more. Tickets for kids and designated drivers are available. Want even more sweetness? A limited number of VIP tickets are available and feature exclusive upgrades including early admission at 1:00 p.m., two beer tickets, a sweet ‘n goody bag, and prize giveaways.
