Cornucopia: KC’s Ultimate Fall Festival – October 15-17
Cross everything off your fall bucket list at Kansas City Power & Light District’s second annual Cornucopia: KC’s Ultimate Fall Festival. Covering three streets throughout the District, the festival is all things fall with live entertainment, yummy treats, family-friendly activities, carnival rides—including a Ferris wheel, plus much more. Dia de los Muertos La Fiesta – October 15
Presented in partnership with the Mattie Rhodes Art Center & Gallery, the Kansas City Museum, and the Crossroads Hotel, this fiesta at the Crossroads Hotel’s XR Café explores the history and cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. To celebrate this colorful tradition, guests will enjoy live mariachi entertainment from Mariachi Corazon de America followed by live music by Trio Aztlan, puppetry by StoneLion Puppet Theatre, complimentary adult Day of the Dead face painting, specialty cocktails and bites. Everyone is invited, no tickets required, a portion of all food and beverage sales between 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. will benefit the Mattie Rhodes Art Center. Click here for more information.

Kansas City Grilled Cheese & Mac Fest – October 16
In what might be the cheesiest and most incredible carb overload on the planet, the Kansas City Grilled Cheese & Mac Fest will allow you to sample a huge variety of gourmet, chef-inspired twists on your childhood favorites. Along with all the tasty eats, you’ll also get to enjoy beer sampling from a variety of breweries and an open bar. Be there to try it all for yourself and cast your vote for the best bite in town. This is a 21+ only event taking place at Berkley Waterfront. You can purchase tickets here.

Parkville Microbrew Festival – October 16
Parkville Microbrew Fest is one of KC’s largest beer festivals with live music, handcrafted ales, and great food in downtown Parkville, Missouri. Festival admission includes a commemorative-logo tasting glass, live music, and all the beer you care to sample. Free admission for designated drivers. This is a 21+ only event. Wonder Night – October 16
Move over kids, the adults are taking over the museum. Wonder Night will celebrate the Regnier Family Wonderscope Children’s Museum’s one year anniversary in south Kansas City, Missouri. It will be an evening under the stars filled with entertaining cocktail experiments, delicious food, a great live band, a silent auction, a raffle, and awesome games with prizes.
