Café Sebastienne Located in the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

You’ll be surrounded with artistic flair while enjoying brunch at Café Sebastienne. The café features two unique spaces—an intimate dining room with a floor-to-ceiling paintings by Frederick James Brown and an architectural, natural light-filled courtyard. From duck pastrami to classic biscuits and gravy, there’s something for everyone. Make a day of it and tour the Kemper Museum after brunch. Pearl Tavern Located in Lee’s Summit

Pearl Tavern is expanding the restaurant’s regularly extensive brunch menu with even more options on Mother’s Day with delicacies like mushroom stuffed salmon, a tavern boil—made with shrimp, crab legs, Yukon gold potatoes, andouille sausage, and fresh corn—lobster mac and cheese, and so much more. Plus, a wide range of choices for brunch cocktails, wine, and beer.

Rye KC Locations on the Country Club Plaza and in Leawood

From smoked-salmon toast to bacon, cheddar, and chive quiche, steak and eggs, burnt-end hash, chicken salad, shrimp and grits, and more, there’s plenty of mouthwatering options to choose from at Rye KC. With locations on the Plaza and in Mission Farms, you can take mom out for a day of shopping after brunch.

Third Street Social Locations on the Country Club Plaza and in Lee’s Summit

If you and mom are seeking brunch with elevated cocktails, Third Street Social is the place to go. Trezo Maré Located in The Village at Briarcliff

We recommend grabbing a spot on the patio overlooking downtown and the Missouri River at Trezo Maré. Mother’s Day brunch options will be flowing with a diverse buffet complete with a carving station, made-to-order omelets, a seafood bar, continental bar, kids’ bar, and a dessert bar stocked with brunch favorites. For $29 per adult, it’s all you can eat. Plus, enjoy a cocktail or two, such as the Trezo bloody mary made with bacon-infused vodka or a mango chili mimosa.
