Sunday’s Chiefs game against the Chargers was extra special for The Fonz, aka Henry Winkler, the famed actor who portrayed Arthur Fonzarelli on Happy Days, and more recently, the acting instructor Gene Cousineau on HBO’s Barry.

The celebrity has repeatedly confessed his admiration for Patrick Mahomes, and he even invited Mahomes to dinner when he appeared on The Rich Eisen Show earlier this year. When Mahomes went on the show a few months later, he said he’d invite Winkler to the next Chiefs game in Los Angeles—and indeed he did.

Before kickoff, Winkler met Mahomes on the field at SoFi Stadium with an autographed number 15 Chiefs jersey sporting Winkler’s name on the back.

“Well today is the day,” Winkler tweeted before the game the Sunday. “I will meet Patrick Mahomes @Chiefs nation. If I meet one of you…I meet all of you.”
