Church of the Resurrection Announces 2020 Pro-Retirement Seminar

LEAWOOD, Kansas (July 8, 2020) – The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, Kansas and its Crossroads Ministry and Foundation are pleased to announce a Pro-Retirement Seminar to be held September 8, 2020 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. This special live-streaming event will feature guest speaker, Amy Hanson, PhD., who will help people envision and take action towards creating a more fulfilling life of purpose and joy.
Amy Hanson is a speaker, writer, and consultant with a passion to help adults discover a life of meaning and purpose. Dr. Hanson has a Ph.D. in Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska. She teaches several courses at the college level and has conducted research on volunteerism among older adults. She has written a number of articles on adult ministries and is the author of the book, “Baby Boomers and Beyond: Tapping the Ministry Talents and Passions of Adults over 50.”
