Hear A Book; Take A Book

Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City, Inc will partner with Lenexa Public Market to offer Hear A Book; Take A Book, an award winning children’s project at Lenexa Public Market, 8750 Penrose Lane, Lenexa, KS; 10:00 am until noon on Saturday, November 13. This is a free indoor event for families with children. Join us as we seek to share a love of reading by encouraging each child to select one brand new book to take home and add to his/her library. Other literacy centered activities are offered, too. Geared toward pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade children. This FREE event is hosted by Altrusa in partnership with Lenexa Public Market. It was made possible by a grant of $4000 from Altrusa International Foundation to improve the economic well-being and quality of life in communities that host an Altrusa club.
