Travis Kelce Honors Kansas City Firefighter with New Truck

In the season of thanks and giving, Travis Kelce teamed up with RealTruck Inc., as well as George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys to gift hometown heroes with brand-new trucks in a new video series called The Trucket List.

Each NFL star chose a hometown hero, and Kelce went with Kansas City firefighter Craig Cummings.

“I’ve always had a passion for shining light on local heroes, Craig Cummings being one of them—28 years as a firefighter and then on top of that helping out underserved youth and giving them an alternative life,” Kelce says. “What happens when someone who spent their whole life giving to others finally gets something in return? This is the story of giving unsung heroes amazing trucks and dreams that come true.”

Kelce surprised Cummings, a firefighter who spends his free time mentoring at-risk youth in Kansas City, with the ultimate tailgating truck, a new, individually customized GMC Sierra.

Meanwhile, Kittle outfitted a veteran turned high-school superintendent with an accessorized fishing truck, and Prescott chose a mental health advocate and Army veteran in need of a customized adventure truck.

“We all have a bucket list of places to see and things we want to do,” says Tony Ambroza, RealTruck, Inc. chief growth officer. “The Trucket List is about creating one-of-a-kind trucks to make those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities become a reality. We’re grateful to first responders and veterans and appreciate the chance to recognize them and share their stories.”
