There’s a new game in town! Well, technically, it’s an old game—but with a deluxe upgrade. The woodworkers at KBDesigns have created artisan cornhole boards just in time for Father’s Day. The regulation (2-foot by 4-foot size) boards are handcrafted with premium quality plywood sourced from local wood suppliers. Some versions even light up! “They are hand-stained and sealed to withstand even the harshest tailgating conditions,” says co-owner Ben Parnell.
Co-owner Kerry Parnell says when the pandemic hit last year, the duo took advantage of some downtime and created a cornhole set for the backyard. “Shortly after that, we started to get custom orders from friends and family,” says Kerry. “New orders led to new ideas, including charcuterie boards, cutting boards, and custom signs.”
