Wedding Plans Put On Hold? Union Station Is About To Make Your Day!

Here comes the bride! And the bride! And the bride. And a couple of grooms. And anoth—oh, you get the idea. The ever-ingenious folks at Union Station are getting creative by opening their doors for a “Day of Love” on June 6th. If you or someone you know had wedding plans put on hold—or are simply looking for a unique venue with all of the flexibility and none of the headaches—this is your silver lining. For one day only, Union Station will transform into a magical, all-inclusive wedding chapel. Couples can choose from three unique and beautiful event spaces, music playlists, and flower packages.

Starting at $350, couples can reserve the classic architecture of Jarvis Hunt, the out-of-this-world Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium or the expansive park-like space of Haverty Family Yards for a dreamy one-hour wedding ceremony. Union Station will have each space decorated—with the help of Hitched Planning and Floral. They’ll even have your song of choice queued up for your magical moment. Need an officiant? Don’t worry—they’ve got you covered on that one too. All you need to do is show up with a small gathering of family and friends, as allowed by local ordinance.

Twenty-one reservations are available with optional add-ons including custom boutonniere and bouquet designed by Hitched Planning and Floral and Platinum KC ‘s audio and live-streaming for off-site friends and family. (Bonus! Couples interested in coming back for a reception receive a 30 percent discount.) Interested parties are encouraged to act fast, as Silver Lining opportunities will book quickly!
