IFI: Miss KC Foodie Cheryl Baker & Crowning Glory’s Molly Buchanan

We all have those unique/interesting/quirky people we like to follow on social media. But who’s flying under the radar? We asked some of Kansas City’s best and brightest social media influencers one simple question: Who are some local folks we need to be following and why?

Baker (L) and Buchanan (R)

“One of the Instagram blogs I most enjoy following is Crowning Glory blog. It’s run by a woman named Molly Buchanan, who is a mother, a runner, a fashionista, and a cancer survivor. While her blog is mostly a lifestyle blog, she also features super-cute fashions, and inspirational messages, as well as discussing battling cancer. She’s also open about the road to adoption she and her husband took in order to have the family they wanted.

While I have never met Molly face to face, I have messaged with her a few times, and she seems like someone I would be great friends with. I love the fashion she showcases as well as the unique poses and photo shoots she chooses!

The one thing that stands out to me about Molly’s page? She endeared me to her when she asked—in her stories—how she could pray for her followers. I haven’t seen any other KC influencers do that and I thought that was really kind, caring of her to do.”
