Level Up

Interior designer Tanner Morgan of Morgan Madison Designs designed the lower level of a lake house to be a place to hang out, watch movies, and host parties. Trim paint throughout is Avocado by Benjamin Moore.

Show’s Starting

Homeowners Mark and Sue Carlson discovered San Diego interior designer Kara Carlson (no relation) online. Kara created a lower level of the new construction that’s a gathering space—with a family room, wine cellar, kitchen and extra bedroom—for the whole family. The tiered home theater is made for movie watching.
