Cocktails for CASA: A Night of Hope September 30

Enjoy signature cocktails and mocktails, live music, and a silent and live auction during a night that supports Jackson County CASA. The goal for the evening is to raise over $100,000 to support training for CASA volunteers who advocate for more than 1,250 children in the foster care system due to abuse or neglect. 

Out of the Darkness Community Walk October 1

Gather at Berkley Riverfront Park to raise awareness about suicide during a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. The Out of the Darkness Community Walk aims to unite communities and provide an opportunity to acknowledge how suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

Merriam Drive Live October 1

Enjoy the sounds of classic rock music played on two stages by local tribute bands. Downtown Merriam will be a party with food trucks, adult beverages, and the city’s fourth annual cornhole tournament.  

2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s October 2

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Join in on the Kansas City leg of the walk at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.

Sunday Night Live: Champions of Care October 2

At KC Hospice & Palliative Care’s signature fundraising event, experience the hustle and bustle of the Power and Light District with plenty of food, live entertainment, raffles, and a silent auction. Funds from the evening support families needing end-of-life care, grief support, and mental health therapy.
