The Nickis Film Festival March 3

Supporting Just Like You Films, The Nickis Film Festival will help the nonprofit film organization launch its first full-length movie, Just Like You – Anxiety + Depression. Head to the Midland Theatre for an evening complete with a delicious culinary experience, fine wines and cocktails, plenty of surprises, guest appearances, dancing, and live entertainment.

Bunnies and Blooms 2023 March 3-5

Visit Lee’s Summit’s Cockrell Mercantile to get a jump on shopping for spring and Easter. Each building on the property is filled everything from boutique décor, clothes, kitchen accessories, and gifts to create a unique shopping experience. During this annual event, shoppers will be able to pick an egg from a basket in each building that reveals either a treat or a special discount. 

KC Symphony Presents: Ravel’s Rapsodie and Poem of Ecstasy March 3-5

Guest conductor Matthias Pintscher will lead the symphony through the orchestral tone colors in Ravel’s music before concluding with Russian composer and pianist Alexander Scriabin’s Poem of Ecstasy. Pianist George Li will return to Kansas City for this performance.

Uncorked: KC Wine Fest March 4

Uncorked is back at Union Station! Sample 100 wines and bubblies from across the globe, including a few favorite local wineries and some “outside the bottle” beverage options. Plus, a DJ, a custom photo booth, local vendors, and food trucks.

Inon Barnatan, Master Pianist March 4

Hailed as “one of the most admired pianists of his generation” according to The New York Times, pianist Inon Barnatan has established a unique and varied career performing as a soloist with many of the world’s foremost orchestras and on the world’s most prestigious stages. He’ll stop at Kansas City’s Folly Theater for his show, The Time Traveler’s Suite.
