If not, may we suggest a trip north of the river to Parkville Days—a festive three-day extravaganza of fun activities and family-friendly fare. Arts and crafts, retail vendors and food galore is on tap. Admission is free. The festivities start Friday at 6pm. (PS. Bring your own lawn chair. You’ll want to sit a spell and listen to live music.)
Okay, okay—we know it’s not Kansas City, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t suggest a road trip to the Missouri State Fair for their closing weekend. Corndogs and concerts and rides—oh my! Don’t miss Cole Swindell and Raelynn performing at the Grandstand on Saturday night.
