The hit musical comedy returns to The Living Room for a four week run. This audience favorite has been expanded and revamped with new scenes, new music, and some spectacular new faces.

Set in the early-20th century during the decline of vaudeville and the rise of Hollywood, The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe tracks the journey of an ultra-sharp, but down-on-their-luck comedy duo as they navigate the rapidly changing world of entertainment.

This witty and gleefully ridiculous musical comedy won several awards, including Best of the Fest at the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival. Get tickets here.

Frida … A Self Portrait

Date: Friday, April 19 through Sunday, May 19
Time: Times Vary
Location: Copaken Stage
Address: 1 H&R Block Way Kansas City
Price: Starting at $41

Mexican painter Frida Kahlo’s life is explored in this astonishing play by KCRep’s Fox Fellowship Resident Actor Vanessa Severo. After suffering polio as a child, a grisly bus accident in her teens that left her with permanent injuries and in almost constant pain, and an addiction to morphine, she overcame those tragedies to triumph through her art. With beautiful physicality and raw honesty, the life of the now-celebrated painter and wife of the equally renowned artist, Diego Rivera, is unearthed in the brave new work.
