THUNDERGONG! 2020 Is a Go!

The line-up for Jason Sudeikis’s upcoming fourth annual THUNDERGONG! is a veritable who’s-who of big names—including SNL alums Fred Armisen, Will Forte and Seth Myers, along with singers Wynonna Judd and Brandi Carlile. The benefit concert will be streamed online on Saturday, November 14th at 7 p.m. Viewers from around the country will have free access to the event and the ability to donate and bid on auction items in real time.

Several lucky guests will also be able to join in on the fun live—well, sorta. RSVP before October 31st and you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win two tickets to an exclusive, socially distanced pre-broadcast event on Friday, November 13th at the Uptown Theater!

THUNDERGONG! is a night of unforgettable musical performances and loads of laughs as the stars align to help uninsured and underinsured amputees get the prosthetic limbs they need—restoring mobility and restoring possibilities. Since 2017, the event has raised nearly $850,000 for Steps of Faith, helping provide prosthetics to more than 400 individuals.

Though the current COVID pandemic will not allow the usual motley crew to band together this year in person for yet another raucous evening of rock ‘n’ roll-fueled fundraising, that doesn’t mean THUNDERGONG!’s mission has gone silent. The need is still great—so prepare for virtual “face-melting and gut-busting fun in your living room …,” as the website attests “ … as we come together to #givesteps once again.”
